APA Essay Samples: Why I Use Humor in Every PaperWhen you get your APA writing samples, there is always one subject that gets under your skin. This is really no different with APA essay samples. This is usually writing related to the subject of the paper.What is the root cause of this particular irritation? It is really an inability to write for yourself, that is the question. If you are not willing to do it, then you will not be willing to do it for others. You cannot control other people's behavior, but you can control how you behave in every situation.Before the beginning of every year, I compile a list of exactly what one should write about in their essay. My most common complaints include: 'presenting two sides to an argument,' 'encouraging readers to be sympathetic toward the author'overusing, or going over the top, style.' I have saved these since the year 1992 and for every year, I go through this process and start the process again.I do not want to see anything on the Intern et or at any writing seminars as anything other than a sincere essay. Why? Because, whether you are writing for yourself or for your audience, you must write from your heart.You may have experienced the feelings of putting something down on a piece of paper and having someone write the same exact thing, it makes you feel less self-conscious and, of course every reader has a different opinion than you. Remember, when the essay is written for others, they will read it in a slightly different way from you.One good example that will help you is to have a topic for your specific concept of the year. Use this idea to help you find your purpose. The general theme you want to express should be a great way to get your point across and not be too broad to make sense to anyone.Do not let all of the subject matter that you find intimidating be your sole reason to continue to write. Instead, you should include humor and fun, it should flow easily. The term I like to use is, a personal essay that is humorous, is a great way to go and will definitely appeal to the reader.By being conscious of your writing and using humor in your piece, you will help yourself and will help the other person in the learning process. Remember, humor is very often the difference between success and failure.
